Spine & Joints
Pain that travels, joints that stiffen, discs that need conservative care
Typical duration: 6–12 weeks typical; longer for chronic programmes
What this programme is for
Spine and joint complaints are the largest group we see. Many people arrive after years of painkillers, physiotherapy that helped only briefly, or advice that surgery is the only remaining option. The first consultation is largely about sorting mechanical wear, inflammatory disease and nerve involvement — they need different sequences of care.
Ayurveda reads much of this territory as vata accumulating in the joints and spinal channels, often with ama obstructing them. Oil therapy applied too early to an ama-loaded joint can worsen symptoms, so sequencing matters as much as the therapy chosen.
For long-standing conditions such as AVN, rheumatoid arthritis or advanced disc disease, we frame realistic timelines and supportive care. Where imaging or neurological findings need orthopaedic or rheumatology input, we say so plainly.
